At Choba Choba, impact is the foundation of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to announce our second year of participation in the Chocolate Scorecard, a global and independent assessment that evaluates the sustainability performance of chocolate companies.
The 2025 results are in, and we couldn’t be prouder to share that:
- Choba Choba ranked 2nd out of 60 brands, with an impressive score of 91.11%
- We were identified as “Leading the industry on policy and implementation”
- We received a green rating (the highest possible) in all six key categories:
1. Living Income
2. Traceability and Transparency
3. Child Labor
4. Deforestation and Climate
5. Agroforestry
6. Pesticides
This recognition validates our relentless commitment to changing the rules of the chocolate game.
What makes Choba Choba unique is that we are the only farmer-owned chocolate company on the Scorecard. That’s not just a detail – it’s a revolutionary model that puts the people who grow the cacao at the heart of the business, decision-making, and value creation.
The Chocolate Scorecard is more than just a rating. It’s a vital tool to shed light on where the industry stands – and where it needs to go. We see it as a way to drive transparency, push for higher standards, and hold ourselves accountable.
We are proud to be part of this collective movement for a fairer and more sustainable chocolate industry.
