Meet RosarioThis chocolate carries the name of Rosario Caballero de Sandoval, affectionately known as Charito, one of Choba Choba's founding farmers and one of the most experienced members of our farming community.Rosario has spent much of her life growing crops and raising her family in the Huayabamba Valley. Her cacao farm is located far from her home, and when the work demands it, she stays on the farm for several days, caring for her trees with the dedication that has always defined her.Supported by her children and extended family, Rosario represents the strong family bonds that have shaped our farming community for generations.In 2019, she travelled to Europe to meet Choba Choba's partners and chocolate lovers, sharing her experience and the story of the people behind our chocolate.With her generous heart, warm personality and unwavering dedication, Rosario embodies the family spirit at the heart of Choba Choba.
